Tell Me More About Declutter and Reset Home Organizing in Boulder & Denver

What does a professional home organizer do?
A professional home organizer helps you create functional, clutter-free spaces by developing personalized systems that work for your lifestyle. Whether you need a complete decluttering session or maintenance resets, we ensure your home supports your daily life. We’re not a housekeeping service but your spaces will feel cleaner and lighter.

How do I know if I need a professional organizer?
If you feel overwhelmed by clutter, struggle to maintain organization, or don’t know where to start, a professional organizer can help you regain control and create sustainable systems. Many clients come to us because they’ve tried organizing on their own but need expert guidance to begin, to follow through and make lasting changes.

Do I have to throw everything away?
No! The goal is not to get rid of everything—it’s to create a system that works for you. Decluttering is about making intentional choices, not about minimalism unless that’s your goal. Organizing will be easier and more sustainable if you reduce or donate items.

What areas of my home can you organize?
We can organize any area, including closets, kitchens, pantries, home offices, bedrooms, and more. We also specialize in move-in setup, hosting prep, and maintenance resets.

Do you work with people who have ADHD or struggle with overwhelm?
Yes! We love provide coaching, encouragement, and support to help create an ADHD-friendly home.

How much does a professional organizer cost in Boulder or Denver?
Pricing varies based on the size and scope of the project. Small projects can take 3-6 hours, while larger ones may require multiple sessions which are available at a discounted rate. Think of it as an investment in your peace of mind, similar to hiring a housekeeper or trainer.

What is your organizing process like?
We start with a virtual consultation to understand and help you name what matters to you (Kendra Adachi is a favorite author and the person who taught me to start with ‘naming what matters’ to better understand what is important or the priority. Then, we work side by side to remove trash, create categories, edit, declutter, and finally reset your space. If you’d like, we can play music, talk books, podcasts, travel, crafting, or tv shows—we will have fun.

How long does an organizing session take?
Every project is different depending on size, number of items, and how long it takes for decisions to be made (it get’s easier as we work together and you build your decluttering muscle.) We have a three-hour minimum per session. Larger projects require multiple sessions. We always work at your pace to ensure a fun and stress-free experience.

Do I need to be present during the session?
It depends on your preference. Some clients like to be hands-on, while others prefer us to do the bulk of the work with check-ins. We tailor the process to your comfort level.
