I'm Alex, a professional home organizer serving Louisville and the surrounding area. I work one-on-one with every client, and much of my work is helping people through moments like these.

Big transitions, small steps

In Louisville, I often work with clients who are in the middle of a change. An empty nest, a downsizing, an upcoming move, or a house full of belongings that no longer match who they are today. I don't ask anyone to make quick decisions. We go one category at a time, and we start with what feels easiest.

Here's the gentle truth I share with many of my clients in their fifties and sixties: your adult kids often don't want most of your things, and you likely have more energy for sorting them now than you will later. Doing this work while it can be a good experience is a gift to yourself.

What I help with

Downsizing and empty nest. Sorting through years of belongings with patience, story time included. We'll decide what to keep, what to pass on, and what's ready to leave.

Moving help. Decluttering before a move and setting up your new home after.

Reclaiming rooms. The old bedroom that turned into storage can become an office, a studio, or a real guest room.

Everyday decluttering. Kitchens, closets, pantries, and offices, so your home is easier to run.

ADHD-friendly organizing. Simple, visible systems that fit how your brain works. I have ADHD myself, and it shapes how I work.

Life Changes. Perimenopause/Menopause, baby on the way, burnout, new chapters all can benefit from a calmer home.

Sentimental things deserve time

If you're going through your parents' belongings, or decades of family photos and keepsakes, we don't rush. I'll help you keep what carries meaning, take photos of what doesn't need to stay, and find good homes for the rest. There's no such thing as going too slowly.

How it works

We start with a free 20-minute virtual consultation. Then we schedule sessions with a three-hour minimum, work at your pace, and end each one with your space looking better than when we started. I'll never tell you what you have to let go of.

Where do we start if the whole house feels like too much?
Usually with one small, low-stress space, like a hall closet or a single shelf. Early wins build momentum.

What happens to the things I don't keep?
I include one carload of donations in your session, and we can talk about other options for larger items during your consultation.
